Remember that this goal is the minimum number of words you need to complete your NaNo challenge--you can always surpass your goal! Word Count Goal by Grade: 5th: 8,000 6th-8th: 10,000 9th-12th: 12,000 3. MeetOur writing expert Eric holds optional weekly write-ins for each grade. What's a write-in? You get to eat lunch in the library while doing writing sprints and getting showered with candy when you complete a sprint goal. 4. CelebrateCupcake party At the end of the month, everyone who participated in NaNoWriMo can come to our cupcake celebration in the library. Get your book published If you meet your target word count you can get your book published! We'll print two copies: one for you to keep and one for the library. |
