​The library is home to an assortment of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) tech that are available for class projects and personal exploration. ​Please talk to one of our library staff members before using any of our devices.

Oculus Go VR

Grades: 6-12 | 10 headsets
​The Oculus Go is a fully immersive viewing headset that allows you to view and explore different scenes with limited interaction capabilities. Students often build interactive scenes using the Co-Spaces app and view them with the Go. This headset also allows you to take a unique look at Anne Frank's Secret Annex and experience the space where she spent two years of her life like never before.

View-Master Deluxe VR Viewer

Grades: JK-5 | 20 viewers
Experience immersive 360° VR using only a smart phone. Apps like Google Earth VR and 360° videos on YouTube allow you to place a smart phone in this headset to view national monuments and parks, watch monarch butterflies migrate, explore our solar system, and so much more.

This all-in-one gaming headset allows you to fully interact virtual art, history, games, and many other experiences. You can explore apps such as the Emmy nominated app Traveling While Black to expand your understanding of different lived experiences.

Hold the solar system in your hands, place artifacts in your world, and interact with various 3D items by downloading apps at Miniverse online. This STEM device allows you to develop your spacial IQ and deepen your engagement, multisensory learning, and accelerated understanding.

ClassVR

Grades: JK-5 | 8 headsets
ClassVR provides thousands of educational virtual and augmented reality resources to add value to lessons, no matter the subject. ​ClassVR headsets have a hardware integration with CoSpaces Edu, letting anyone with this device access the platform in VR.

CoSpaces Edu App

CoSpaces allows you to easily build in 3D with simple creation tools. You can add additional interactions to your 3D world with block-based coding or advanced scripting, then you can explore your creation in full VR using one of our Oculus headsets.
